7900, workers suffering from work-related ill-health (new or long-standing)

 Work Place Risks

4,872 non-fatal injuries to employees reported by employers under RIDDOR in 2018/19p.

1,697 (35%) were specified injuries and 3,175 (65%) were over seven-day injuries.

 

This statistic alarms us that it is very important to take appropriate safety measures and protect the construction crew from fatalities.
